Sophisticated Jobs That Pay Well

This is not about menial labour and low pay. The work is sophisticated, remuneration is excellent, and there are plenty of jobs for anyone interested in green technologies. And remuneration will keep increasing because demand is exploding in this area, driven by the 2030 Challenge and government building incentives. All new buildings contain new energy-saving systems and more than 5 million Canadian buildings will have to be energy audited and then re-fit with new technologies in the next 15 years. In addition, a lot of baby boomers are retiring.

There are opportunities for people who are very technical and also for those who are more interested in interpersonal positions such as marketing and management.

Through our college co-op programs you’ll begin working in your field and making money well before your training is complete. You can work hands-on with new technologies or you can learn to plan them. Architecture, engineering, IT, supply chain logistics, purchasing, distribution, customer service, marketing and sales; they are all being changed by the new world and its new ways.
