About Us

CIPH is a not-for-profit trade association, founded in 1933. Our members include most of the manufacturers, distributors, and allied companies who directly employ more than 10,000 Canadians in the plumbing and hydronics (modern hot water heating) industries. In 2008 CIPH celebrates 75 years of helping our members, the industry, allied organizations, government and consumers.
We promote education, responsible growth exports, change, and new, clean technologies. We provide a national and regional voice for our members while working with member groups and governments on new building codes and safety awareness. CIPH helps develop training, events and careers.
This site provides news through regional newsletters, national newsletters and other news vehicles, events such as trade shows, road shows and our annual business conference, sections on codes and standards, research, training, careers, scholarships, regional information, a government and strategic partner section, a consumer and media section; and general information on plumbing, hydronics, industrial valves, pipes and fittings; and alternative technologies.
Through this site you can find information on our board, committees, councils, international affiliations, strategic partners and nine very active regions across Canada. All of these help ensure that CIPH is the national voice with regional roots for the plumbing and hydronics industries.
