The Role of the Certification Organization Due Diligence Task Force

Within CIPH, the Plumbing Industry Advisory Council has formed the Certification Organization Due Diligence (CODD) Task Force. The role of the CODD Task Force is to review all concerns raised by CIPH members relating to certification organizations (COs) and the work they do on behalf of our industry. This is a free service provided to CIPH members, designed to strengthen our relationship with COs and to ensure COs are supporting the work of industry.

If you have a specific concern related to certification or the work that certification organizations are performing, you are encouraged to contact Ken Tomihiro at k.tomihiro@ciph.com. CIPH is sensitive to the fact that certain issues may be of a confidential nature. CIPH staff will remove company or product names so that the issue can be generically discussed. The CODD Task Force will review your issue and attempt to provide options to you on how the issue can be managed.
