CIPH along with the Partners in Distribution Excellence hosts successful “Market Insights: Understanding Harmonized Sales Tax” webinar featuring Bill MacQueen of BDO Canada LLP.

More than 20 sites representing approximately 60 industry professionals attended “Understanding the Harmonized Sales Tax”, the first webinar being presented in this program This one-hour webinar presentation covered General HST Rules, Transitional Rules, Materials Purchasing, Purchases for Resale, Rebates, Labour and Installation, Supply and Install Projects, Specific Impact on the Construction Industry, Contract Structuring and Progress Payments and Holdbacks.
