The Plumbing Industry Advisory Council was created in August 1970 to provide the industry source of technical information and viewpoints to CSA International, and ultimately to the Chief Plumbing Inspectors and code writers who make up the Canadian Advisory Council on Plumbing. PIAC members represent CIPH Manufacturers, MCA-Canada, the Canadian Copper and Brass Development Association, the Canadian Water and Wastewater Association, the Canadian Water Quality Association; the Plumbing Manufacturers Institute (USA) and the Engineering Society. This broad membership gives PIAC the expertise to act as the voice of the Canadian Plumbing Industry. |
