Do you have any current counterfeits you would like to provide to the ROM's for the 'Fakes & Forgeries' exhibit?
Starting this July, the Royal Ontario Museum's (ROM) renowned and highly-successful travelling exhibit, entitled "Fakes & Forgeries: Yesterday and Today" is being updated. Displays shown in this exhibit include both historical forgeries, as well as those demonstrating the trends and problems caused by the selling of modern-day counterfeit goods. This exhibit will also contain samples of today's knock-offs -- ranging from electronic items to designer brand clothing and accessories.
To assist in updating this exhibit, the ROM has contacted CACN to ask if our members possibly have new counterfeit items that could be used for their sample display case.
If you have any interesting and current counterfeits that you think would be of interest to the exhibit, please contact ROM Curator Paul Denis at firstname.lastname@example.org or CACN member Lorne Lipkus email@example.com
