CIPHEX West Grows Again

Growing List of Trade Associations sponsors of Western Canada’s biggest plumbing, hydronics and HVACR event.


February 13, 2018 - The Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH) announces that six industry associations will be Honourary Sponsors for this fall’s CIPHEX West trade show.  They are:


·         American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE)

·         Canadian Hydronics Council (CHC)

·         Canadian Water Quality Association (CWQA)

·         Mechanical Contractors Association of Alberta (MCAA)

·         Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada (MCAC)

·         Thermal Environmental Comfort Association (TECA)


Together, CIPH and the six sponsoring associations represent the majority of Canada’s plumbing, HVACR, hydronic and water treatment contractors, wholesalers and engineers. With such broad industry participation, this important event is sure to draw large audiences from each of its target sectors.

The American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) is the international organization for professionals skilled in the design, specification and inspection of

plumbing systems. 


The Canadian Hydronics Council (CHC), a council within the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH), has represented Canada’s hot water heating industry for over 40 years. CHC is the only national body dedicated to the hot water heating industry.


CWQA is the trade association representing, training and advocating for water treatment product, component and service providers across Canada.


The Mechanical Contractors Association of Alberta represents the interests of all mechanical contractors and their suppliers through business support, educational resources, and industry advocacy.


The Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada is the unified voice of the mechanical contracting industry. Members are contractors of all sizes engaged in plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, controls systems, medical gases, welding, and fire suppression primarily within the industrial, commercial, institutional and service sectors.


The mandate of the Thermal Environmental Comfort Association is to offer the residential heating, cooling and ventilation industry up-to-date training courses and a collective voice in local and provincial issues. Our mission is to see safe, efficient and comfortable heating, cooling and ventilation systems installed in dwellings in British Columbia. 




























Produced by the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH), the CIPHEX West trade show is a one-stop, must-attend event for contractors, wholesalers, engineers, building managersand other industry professionals looking for new products and technologies. More than 200 exhibitors from Canada, the United States and around the world will be in Calgary for the two-day 30,000 square foot industry showcase.
