How our Business really Flows – A Conversation with 3 Pillars of our Industry

 

This panel discussion will provide perspectives from a variety of industry supply chain reps on what they the next five (5) years will hold for industry.  This is great opportunity to see from these three perspectives of what best practice will continue and what new practice may be on the horizon.  You will have the chance to inquire about what the future may hold or what made these individuals successful in their fields.

 

Panel Members:

Gary Vickers, AB Regional Manager, EMCO Corporation
Mr. Vickers has been with EMCO over 24 years and been 30 years in the Plumbing and Heating industry overall.  Gary has had the opportunity to work in nearly every role in wholesale from warehousing to management.  He has managed businesses in Calgary, Fort McMurray and Southern Ontario in Plumbing, HVACR and Industrial as well as working as a manufacture’s agent.

Gary served as President of CIPH Calgary Region, a Director of the Mechanical Contractor Association of Alberta, and Vice President of the Fortress Mountain Division Ski-Patrol.  Currently Gary is a Director and the Capital Campaign Chair for New Heights School and Learning Services – a school for children and young adults on the Autism Spectrum.

 

Michael Klassen – Sales Manager, Jayman Built
Michael has over 20 years of experience in sales leadership in the Canadian construction industry.  He’s a specialist at building and maximizing key relationships in order to add value and grow business and a proven leader of teams with diverse talents and experience.  He has over 15 years in the New construction Market, working with some of the largest and most influential home builders in the country.

 

James Koch – Sundance, Plumbing, Heating, and Gas LTD

After completing MRU’s Bachelor of Applied Policy Studies, majoring in Economics, James began his career with Sundance in the field where he learned all aspects of plumbing and gas.  In 2010, he moved into the office taking on a purchasing and junior project management role, progressing through to estimating and currently overseeing all aspects of the day to day operations of the business.  James has been responsible for growing the business from strictly doing residential plumbing to commercial and full HVAC in the past 5 years.
