What the fee includes:
Your fee includes all the material you will need for the course and lunch. Please bring a pencil and a calculator. 

School certificate:
Students who successfully complete the school will receive a framed certificate of completion.


Get a firm understanding of the controls required for the safe installation of hot water boilers, as taught by instructor Rob Waters.

  • The purpose of typical boiler operating devices
  • The purpose of typical microprocessors
  • Installation practices for typical microprocessor components
  • This module is recommended for installers who want to learn, refresh, or update their knowledge on the latest in hydronic practices.

 

Instructor: Steve Jollimore

Steve Jollimore has worked in the Plumbing and Heating trades for over thirty years, he is a licensed Interprovincial Plumber, Class B Gas Fitter and has been trained in TECA Forced Air Guidelines, TECA Ventilation Guidelines, and as a TECA Hydronic Heating Designer. He has many years’ experience in design, installation and service of Hydronic Heating Systems on the East Coast as well as throughout the province of BC, from small houses to large commercial buildings as well as large high-end homes with energy saving control systems and home automation. He has experience in estimating, sales, design, installation, service and repairs. Steve works with TECA, the Thermal Environmental Comfort Association as an instructor, teaching the Forced Air Guidelines course which covers room by room Heat Loss, Heat Gain and Duct Design and layout, he will be teaching TECA’s new HRV/ERV installation course.  He is actively involved in keeping in TECA’s courses current with best practices and technology.
