Intro to PVF: 4-Part Webinar Series is a modular-based, training offered by CIPH's Industrial, Pipe, Valves & Fittings Council. This powerful training resource is critical for any employee who needs to learn the basics of the key product segments of the PVF sector. Designed for new hires or for anyone who just wants a brush up!

This training is delivered in a series of modules and each module is presented by a separate industry professional who is an expert in the field of the module they are addressing.

Stephen Hall 

Stephen Hall is the Manager National Quality Assurance & Safety for CCTF Corporation.

He has 40 years of experience in Quality - the first 15 years with Taylor Forge, manufacturing of steel components for the nuclear and gas transmission industry to NCA3800 standard and the next 25 years for Master Distributor CCTF Corporation providing steel fittings, flanges, pipe and pipe hanger products across Canada. 

Responsibilities include maintaining the company Quality Management System registration ISO9001:2015 with SAI Global registrar, Approved Manufacturers list by performing quality audits and providing technical expertise to suppliers around the globe.  He is also focused on driving continuous improvement and is a recognized technical expert representing the company on all quality issues, standards and specification interpretations. 


Kevin Yong-Ping

Kevin Yong-Ping is the IPEX Regional Engineer for Ontario.  His primary role is supporting the technical sale of thermoplastic piping by educating engineers, contractors and code officials on piping topics relevant to their field.  He has presented at various OPIA chapters, local municipalities across Canada, the OBOA, the Plumbing Advisory Council and the CIPH IPVF sessions.  Prior to IPEX, he worked in the firestop industry for 10 years for a firestop manufacturer and for an engineering design firm for 5 years.



William Ping

William Ping is currently the V.P. of Operations at NCI Canada Inc. William’s exposure to valves and flow control systems started early in his career. Graduated from his undergraduate engineering program in 1993, he was recruited by Dresser Industries China as a Sales Engineer and later promoted to Regional Sales Manager. He was responsible for sales and technical support of Consolidated safety calve, Masoneilan control valve and several line valve products.  In 1998, William was employed by tyco Flow Control Asia Pacific for their Manager of Line Valve Division and where he was responsible for growing market share and revenue across China.

In 2007, William enrolled in the MBA program at Schulich School of Business, York University, specializing in Strategic Management and Marketing. He graduated from the program and later joined NCI Canada team in 2011 as their Senior Product Manager – Industrial and Fire Protection Valve. He was promoted to Director of Marketing in 2012 and then General Manager in 2015. William has continued his career path trajectory by being appointed Vice President of Operations in 2018.


Denise Loro

Denise Loro is currently Ontario Regional with CRANE ChemPharma & Energy Flow Solutions - Jenkins Valves and has been with Jenkins for over a decade.   She began her career 30+ years ago with a National Distributor beginning her journey into the Plumbing industry.   Given the opportunity to learn all aspects of the business from picking orders, shipping, customer service, project quotations, purchasing, inside sales to outside sales developing strong relationships.

Presented with an opportunity to explore the Manufacture side took on a role as Regional Sales Manager for NH Valves, which has led her to her current position where she continues to enhance her knowledge of the many lines of valves in a competitive industry!




Mike  Du Maresq 

Mike  Du Maresq is the National Sales Manager for Canadian manufacturer, Taylor Pipe Supports.  
Mike has been in sales for over 30 years.  He began his career in the retail sectors of millwork and hardware, transitioned to the plumbing industry in the late 90’s and has never looked back. 

His roles have included customer service, inside sales, outside sales, technical sales, product management, and sales management.  Mike has spent the majority of his career in manufacturing but did spend some time with an HVAC Distributor.  This experience gave him a better understanding of the dynamics of a Manufacturer / Distributor / Mechanical Contractor relationship.  He has experience with a variety of plumbing products such as pumps, faucets, fixtures, plastic pipe, valves and pipe supports.   

Mike has been with Taylor Pipe Supports for over 7 years and is a member of the CIPH IPVF Council.
