The Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH) and the Canadian Water Quality Association (CWQA) announce that the two associations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a framework for communication and cooperation in the continued development of the North American market for residential and commercial water treatment and grey water systems equipment and other products within the scopes of both associations.

CIPH and CWQA intend to create an organized and systematic approach for sharing information between the two organizations through the exchange of publications, memorandums and materials from both respective association endeavors, as well as from an exchange of information through conferences, educational forums, industry meetings, exhibitions, seminars, site visits and other related undertakings sponsored or attended by members of both associations.

“This MOU will promote and facilitate mutual cooperation between CIPH and CWQA and will provide more robust programs and services to our respective associations in the water treatment and Plumbing and Heating Industry in Canada”, reported CIPH Chairman of the Board Allen Taylor.

The MOU was signed by CIPH President & GM Ralph Suppa and by CWQA Executive Director Anne Baliva on September 24th, 2018 in our collective efforts to “ramp up” our value in an effort to strengthen relationships and to find common synergies (technology, training, lobbying etc.) to meet the needs of our respective members through this signed MOU.
