CIPH hosts Successful Region Summit
Meeting with the CIPH Regions
The CIPH Board of Directors held a successful Region Summit Meeting with the CIPH Region Presidents and Coordinators in beautiful Quebec City from August 20-22, 2019. The key goals of this meeting were to:
1) Build a stronger sense of a CIPH community;
2) Strengthen the capacity for CIPH and the CIPH Regions to provide meaningful programs and services to members;
3) Provide the CIPH Regions with an opportunity to share and exchange "best practices" ideas to meet local member needs.
The Region Presidents and Coordinators had the opportunity to gain a better appreciation and understanding of the Institute and what the CIPH Board and the Regions do to meet members' needs. Over the two days, there were many engaged brainstorming sessions where attendees discussed and shared ideas around the industry and the association for future success.
This years "Outstanding Region of the Year" award was judged by all in attendance. The criteria for "Outstanding Region of the Year" includes a mix of important key performance indicators as well as an opportunity to share the key highlights and successes within the Region during the past two years. Congratulations to CIPH Manitoba Region. Manitoba Region President Nolan Shortridge (Jones Goodridge Inc.) accepted the award on behalf of the Region.
The Board and all members acknowledge that one of the real strengths of the Institute are the nine CIPH Regions across Canada. Regions provide local participation in quality networking opportunities, and CIPH fully appreciates the leadership role each Region President and Coordinator has undertaken this year.
Check the CIPH website for a list of each regions upcoming 2019/2020 events.
