A message from Barbara O’Reilly (Rheem Canada Ltd/Ltée), CIPH Women’s Network Chair

Since this week includes both International Women’s Day (March 8) and World Plumbing Day (March 11), it just makes sense to share some quick facts about the CIPH Women’s Network… a network for women employees of members of the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating.

 

The Network was created in November 2016.

 

The purpose of the CIPH Women’s Network is to support the professional development of women within Canada’s plumbing and heating industry, and to enhance member companies’ opportunities to attract, develop and retain more high-performing female employees. 
More than 270 women employees of CIPH members have joined the Network so far… and membership keeps growing.

As part of its KPI (key performance indicators) the CIPH Board of Directors has set a goal to increase membership on the Board by women to 20%.
The Network offers free webinars (typically 2 each year). The most recent one, a 30-minute virtual book review of “Lean In” is available on YouTube. Listen Now
