CIPH ensures that members voices are heard.

 

Through our Plumbing Mechanical Advisory Council, we provide federal and provincial government agencies with up-to-date industry information and represent the industry on legislative and regulatory matters. 

 

CIPH is a key part of the regulatory system for plumbing and heating in Canada.

 

This means that we:

 

Addressing Climate Change with Skilled Trades and New Technologies

Just one example of CIPH’s involvement in advocacy is our initiative to address climate change with skilled trades and technologies from August 2019.

 

Ensuring Canada has an adequate supply of skilled tradespeople who are regularly updating their skills and certifications is an essential component of addressing the climate emergency.

You may not realize it, as much of the work is behind the scenes, but CIPH, as the voice of their members, is on the forefront of Codes, Standards, and regulatory development in Canada.  This voice is listened to by federal, provincial and territorial governments creating a strong partnership. This partnership provides CIPH members with a flowing distribution network that facilitates trade and economic growth from coast to coast to coast.
