Nancy Barden

National Region Manager

Nancy Barden joined CIPH in 1992 after completing a three year Hotel and Resort Management program at Georgian College in Barrie. Nancy has provided management to many programs, committees and councils within CIPH. She is currently the Program Manager responsible for CIPH’s Annual Business Conference, Young Executive Society and National Region Manager for the 9 CIPH Regions.

 



Kathy Boonman

Manager, Operations & Ontario Region

Kathy Boonman joined CIPH in 2017 as Manager, Operations & Ontario Region. Kathy is responsible for providing leadership and office management to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. She also assists the Ontario Region President and Board in planning and executing Board and Business meetings. Kathy has over 15 years of experience in Operations and Office Management, providing financial and event management support in both the not-for-profit sector at Colon Cancer Canada and in the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry.

 

 



Sarah Clarke

Administrative Assistant

Sarah joined CIPH in 2017 as an Administrative Assistant. She graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a double major in English, Women & Gender Studies in 2015. Afterwards, she went on to study at Sheridan College, graduating with a Post-Graduate Certificate in Public Relations – Corporate Communications. Sarah is responsible for assisting with the CIPH website, communications, newsletters and other administrative duties.

 



Ammara Mahmood

Project Coordinator

Ammara joined CIPH in 2017 as a Project Coordinator. She graduated from University of Toronto with a double major in Economics and Public Policy and is currently pursuing her MBA at Wilfrid Laurier University. She is an integral member of the project team responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of a Project Manager. She also performs various coordinating and administrative duties thus allowing for a supportive environment at CIPH.

 


 


Elizabeth McCullough, CDE

General Manager - Trade Shows

Elizabeth McCullough joined CIPH in 1992. She handles sales, operations and marketing for the CIPHEX West and MCEE trade shows, manages the CIPH Women’s Network and is a member of the CMPX Show Committee. Elizabeth is a member of the Canadian Association of Exposition Management (CAEM), holds the Certified Director of Expositions (C.D.E.) designation, was President of that association from 1996-1998 and inducted into CAEM’s Hall of Fame in 2011. Elizabeth is a graduate of McMaster University.

 


 


Geeta Persaud

Program Assistant, Events & Administration

Geeta joined CIPH in 2014 as a Receptionist and has since worked as an Administrative Coordinator as well as her current role as Program Assistant, Events & Administration. Geeta has an extensive knowledge of the CIPH Database, as well as its Members and uses her expertise to assist with the Management of Events and Region Coordination.

 Akshay is a chemical engineering graduate with a Graduate Certificate in Energy Management from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. He recently received his Certified Associate in Project Management certification (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute.

 

 


 


Matt Wiesenfeld

Program Manager

Matt Wiesenfeld joined CIPH in 2013. He has a wealth of experience in marketing, communications, event management, fundraising and financial management in both the not-for-profit and for-profit sectors. He has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from Wilfrid Laurier University and recently became a Certified Association Executive (CAE). Matt has a variety of responsibilities as a Program Manager including the Canadian Hydronics Council, PR Committee, IT Task Force and CIPH’s charity partnership with Habitat for Humanity.

 


   


Louis Yu Tim Lun

Accountant

Louis joined CIPH in 2014. With more than 10 years of accounting experience in different sectors of the Mauritian economy, Louis brings a strong working knowledge of the full accounting cycle. He has expertise in the preparation of financial budgets and financial statement and holds an advanced certificate in Bookkeeping and Accounts from the International Association of Bookkeepers.

 


 


Ralph Suppa, CAE

President & General Manager

Ralph joined CIPH in 1988. Ralph has worked closely with industry members, associations and government over the past several years to develop codes and standards. He was appointed President & General Manager in 2002. He holds the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE) and is a graduate of York University in Toronto.
